I'm watching QT and swearing my head off as per usual. The rank hypocrisy of this government stinks like a medieval dunghead. Watching the slaughter of Palestinians has changed the way I see so many things. My tolerance for political weasel words is now non-existent, but I never thought I would be as disgusted by Albanese and Wong, in particular, as I have been at their craven, snivelling sucking up to the US and Israel. I find it truly astounding how they have changed from being fighters for the oppressed to being the oppressors. The measures they've taken to limit freedom of speech are beyond a joke. And then the absence of condemnation of war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, ethnic cleansing, slaughter, assaults, rapes, torture, ecocide, domicide, targeted killings of doctors, journalists, academics, annihilation of entire families - the list just goes on and on. What will it take for our gutless government - looking at you Albanese and Wong - to find a spine and show some basic human decency? Should we be asking what dirt the Israel lobby has on them???

The cowardice and moral bankruptcy of Albanese , Wong and Marles continues to disgust me . They shame this nation and betray any shred of our sovereignty. This will be their eternal legacy . Their determination to continue disgracing this country

demonstrates their inadequacy in the roles they somehow gained .

The only politicians who have consistently spoken out against the Israel atrocities and genocide have been the Greens. The ones on the conservative side, especially the Labor party, have either been fully supportive of Israel or have conveniently looked away. They disgrace us all.

Australia’s silence on Israel-related controversies is often read as moral erosion under alliance pressure. In this view, principles are increasingly filtered through security ties and economic interests rather than consistent legal standards. The result is a widening gap between public sentiment and state conduct, feeding cynicism about democratic accountability. Over time, this perceived inconsistency risks normalizing selective morality in foreign policy, where ethical claims survive only when politically convenient.

They will continue to turn blind eye to the obvious atrocities because they think it is politically astute. The polls haven’t changed so nobody cares. But what albanese is missing is that many Australians are saving that disgust up. PK once said they are waiting on the verandah with cricket bats. Maybe they are let’s see if Australians are as morally bereft as Americans

The recent polls tend to show that perhaps Australians are even more morally bereft, when they show the rush to even more despotic ideals in the Trumpist One Nation. Especially given we can clearly see in the USA where support of populist politics ends up.
