I actually hope we don’t get a seat at the Security Council for two years, the spineless labour party would waste it. They should give it to someone that has the moral courage to use it for good not just political convenience.

Earlier today I happened to listen to some parts of AA's announcement of the Australian bid for the UN Security Council seat. He said the usual things about Australia punching above its weight and having a say in world affairs, etc. The statement would have been a normal perhaps meaningful statement (as much as these can be) a year ago.
But times have changed and the Australian Labor government is now clearly owned by the Zionists.
I noted two things in the parts of the announcement I listened to. One was an emphasized focus on doing the right things by our Pacific neighbours - nary a mention of the USA or China. Two, noticeable by omission, was no mention of the Israeli genocide in Gaza and what Australia could do on the security council to stop it - or any other ongoing genocide for that matter.
Given that Israel is a totally illegal settlement on Palestine.?
Given that goods from an illegal section of that a priori colonization was politically conceived as pure lip service.?
Given just what a gutless distraction from the unholy genocide that is this distraction.?
What's the aim here...to get all guilty over a minor piece of trade and free the conscience from the unaccountable slaughter of thousands of innocents.?
